Volume Four - Cornwall

My dad used to be paranoid about being cut off by an incoming tide on the beach. We used to tease him but the reality is that if you don’t know a beach well, it is very possible. Even on a beach you are quite familiar with sand banks can shift and change creating islands where the tide can sneak in behind you. Here that water behind is gentle and rippling; beautiful and dangerous in equal measure.
